I had one of those rare dreams last night that reflect only the good things that my inner psyche seems to desire. I awoke with a sigh, as it felt like someone had blown over the house of cards I had subconsciously been working on forever just as I had secured the last piece.

3 years in the making
Since a sleepover in November 2007 inspired me and a friend to think about things that we wanted to accomplish in that coming month, I have filled my old makeup box (after my giving up on makeup and the box’s subsequent abandoning) with 40 (soon to be 41) crinkled, folded sheets of various colored paper which have been opened, read, reread, laughed and sighed at many times over the years....

This night
Reminds me of late night AIM chats all those years ago. I remember being so enamored. Do we let ourselves fall into the same traps again and again by accident? Or do we secretly hope that things will change this time around?
